November saw some pretty cold, dark, wet and miserable weather which I was pretty reluctant to venture out in on a few occasions.
That's where being a part of a running club definitely helped, igniting that sense of duty, fuelling my motivation and sense of routine; it never failed to see me lacing up my shoes, grabbing my head torch and getting on with it. Of course once out, everything is fine and you wonder what all the fuss was about! That said, there were a couple of days, especially on my solo runs, when I thought perhaps training for the Indoor Tiddlywinks Championships might have been a better plan!

13th November 2019:
"A nice little 5 mile lunch time run, though negotiating a good mile or 2 of swamp was interesting to say the least.
Wild abandon prevailed and embracing my inner child, I proceeded to career through each one, mud flailing everywhere and with the hugest grin on my face!
Feel good factor 💯👍🏻 #SensoryFun #Therapy #MarathonTraining Autism East Midlands #TeamAEM ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💙💚💛🧡❤️"

Then on 19th November 2019:
"Bit sharp out ❄️ but got myself out for a nice 6 mile run this evening"
These icy runs certainly offered a challenge, but in rising to each one, I learned a great deal about myself, my strategies and coping mechanisms and most importantly my resilience and ability to "dig deep" when necessary. I was convinced this would come in handy later on - oh boy, I was right and even now, I know this isn't even the half of it!
The mental game is everything.
Whatever the November weather threw my way, I embraced it all and enjoyed a variety of runs. From muddy marshes, bracing bridges, pavements full of puddles to windy woodland walkways, I remembered exactly why I started and put one foot in front of the other. There was always a steaming hot bath and two lovely little ladies waiting with a cup of tea for me at home after each run. I really do have the best daughters and they have no idea how much their kind and simple gestures touched my heart and spurred me on.
NOVEMBER FUNDRAISING!
This month saw an enormous boost to my fundraising for Autism East Midlands!!

18th November 2019:
"WOW! HUGE thanks to everyone who came to the photo stand at "Fearless" and supported my London Marathon charity sale. Your generosity helped to make an INCREDIBLE £260 for Autism East Midlands!! Huge thanks to my little helpers! (Pictured are Israeli and my little mascot Miles the duck! 🦆) SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR SUPPORT, especially all the good luck wishes for my training and the marathon itself!! 💜🤗💜"
The next day:

"It’s so cold 🥶and I was a bit reluctant to go for a run, BUT then I saw my fundraising page today and felt so overwhelmed with gratitude. That has spurred me on 💯 so off I go! 🏃🏼♀️👊🏻 £720 raised ALREADY! That’s 40% 😍 Another £180 and I’m halfway there. THANK YOU EVERYONE!! 🙌🏻💜 "
