RUNNING A RAINBOW

My Marathon Diary

Welcome to Running a Rainbow, a journal following my training for one of the most famous 26.2 mile races in the world, The London Marathon 2020!

I am  39 and on the autism spectrum and will be running MY FIRST EVER MARATHON (!) to raise much needed funds for a wonderful charity dear to my heart, AUTISM EAST MIDLANDS

Follow my progress, each step of the way through regular photos and updates in my blog below, as I take on this almighty challenge. Share each trial and victory alike and please feel free to send lots of positive vibes!

Oh and please don't forget to have a look at my JUST GIVING page where you can make a donation to help me reach my pledge target of £1800!! Every single donation, great or small will make a difference to a charity that so many depend on. You can find the "DONATE" buttons at the top right and bottom of this page and dotted about the site.

I hope Running a Rainbow will offer a glimpse into my world, in particular how running has helped me to create focus, stability and positivity in a life which I otherwise find quite daunting and confusing.
